DECEMBER CHEERS Three to Celebrate

December 28th marks the birthday of the Wheeler Patriarch. Here are some shots of Maynard before he took over his father's role as family chronicler. Unfortunately we have no updates. Is he still behind the camera with one of his fabulous ties on?

Kate Wheeler Snell will celebrate with her family on December 29th.
And Cheers to Tom who also celebrates on the 29th. Will he and Cousin Kate raise glasses together?
Tom in front of his Air Craft Carrier "The Saratoga" which is unfortunately being dismantled as we speak. He regaled us this summer with stories of life aboard ship.
Uncle Tom happily helps out Sis with her rather active family.
Best wishes to all December celebrants!

Its Official - Elijah Ja'wuan joins the Lipner Family and other Thanksgiving News

June 15, 2008, Ja'wuan Benjamin Craig was born in Jersey City, NJ
On June 23, 2008, Jake asked his parents if he could please have a baby brother.
On June 24, 2008, Martha and Jim brought 9 day old Ja'wuan homes to meet his foster brother Jake. Note to Jake: not everything will be this easy in life.
Fast forward two and a half years (with a little stress and drama thrown in), Jim, Martha and Jake are happy and proud that we have officially adopted Elijah Ja'wuan into our family on November 19th, 2010.

CONGRATULATIONS!
TO THE WHOLE LIPNER FAMILY
So much to give thanks for

And in Other Thanksgiving News:
Jane eats her way through two
turkey dinners
The Cothrans report in from Charleston
The SC contingent reports that Sally, Keith and Suki were invited to a Charleston family's home on the Battery for Turkey and then will give thanks for the weather with a walk on the beach and then take in the festival of lights on James Island. Ann took a break from decorating everyone elses table and went to Charlotte to do the 5k Turkey trot and share a Turkey with a friend. Perrin and Mia arrive soon to be with Granny Rah and Auntie Ann for a combo holiday break.
We send you a warm southern salute at this time- Be safe and enjoy family and friends.
Larry and Beth have donned their snow bird wings and drove south through the Blue Ridge Mts where they may have found their ultimate resting place.
They spent Turkey day in the Bahamas and are looking forward to being in New England for Christmas with the kids.
Sandy writes from CO that they enjoyed a quick trip to Pueblo to visit Curts family for Thanksgiving.
Is this where they cooked the turkey?

On a very sad note Perry (PB) writes that Polly's father passed away this week. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Hotchiss Family. Within our thanksgiving prayers are always thoughts for family and friends that are no longer with us but have been such an important part of our lives. We have been so blessed to know them.

November Notables

November Birthdays was ushered in on the 1st with one of the cutest Birthday Girls ever. Here is Anne Cothran cuddled with her dad and older sis, Perrin. From there she grows into a smiling rock climber and avid 5K runner. But those are not her only talents, check out the Charleston garden designed and maintained by Anne. She writes that after an enjoyable Spring filling Charleston's gardens and pots with floral bouquets, she traveled to New England twice to spend time with her favorite niece, sister and of course her aunties. She says she missed us but I am really thinking it was the SC heat that sent her packing. Whatever the reason it is always great to see her.

Sandy Boynton Messing celebrated her birthday on November 3rd. She had a busy summer with keeping up with her business, accompanying Kurt to truck rallies and Karyn to horse shows and track meets. Karyn may have joined "Girls On The Run" team but Sandy is the champion!
Sandy on the right looks like she has once again come away from the table with more food on her face than in her tummy

Aah what a beautiful woman she has turned into, smart and funny too. Kurt is one lucky guy as are we to have her in the family. Her mother would be proud. I know her Dad is.

Iain Russell's birthday is the 9th. Here are few photos of Iain doing what he loves best, sharing his love of the great outdoors with his family.

CLARA SNELL, November 10th
(Photos and News wanted for a very special Birthday girl)

We celebrate Shane's Birthday on November 16th.
Now this is a guy that obviously likes dressing for the occasion whether it's halloween or fairy parties. Can you believe you can actually make money teaching Fairy House Building? Shane Chick is a very talented printmaker living in South Berwick Maine, with Perrin and daughter Mia. You can check out his art at www.etsy.com/shop/chickfamilylink.

Martha Burker Lipner, nee Martha III will be toasted by her family on November 21st. She is first seen here nestled in with her granny, Martha I. At least I think its her but more photos are needed to confirm identity.

Last of the November Family Birthdays is on November 23rd, Guilia Guidi. She is featured here with her daughter Barbara and Carey(Bonner's husband) and Karyn(Sandy's girl). She resides in New Jersey near Little Brook Farm with her daughter and husband Peter. She teaches French and Italian to students of all ages and is a Yoga instructor as well.

Big Month for Birthdays! A Happy One to All!

Family Octoberfests

October 4th marks Paolo's Birthday - From what I hear he is working hard and still enjoying Colorado. Who wouldn't with a bride as lovely as Natalia to share it with.

Carey celebrates his birthday on October 11th
While Bonner's email is "huggables" from these photos I would say Carey is the champion hugger in this family.

Lets toast to Terry on October 12th though I think she already has a head start.

When her golfing and shooting days are over at least she has her more domestic side to turn to.
Best Birthday wishes to all.
