Its Official - Elijah Ja'wuan joins the Lipner Family and other Thanksgiving News

June 15, 2008, Ja'wuan Benjamin Craig was born in Jersey City, NJ
On June 23, 2008, Jake asked his parents if he could please have a baby brother.
On June 24, 2008, Martha and Jim brought 9 day old Ja'wuan homes to meet his foster brother Jake. Note to Jake: not everything will be this easy in life.
Fast forward two and a half years (with a little stress and drama thrown in), Jim, Martha and Jake are happy and proud that we have officially adopted Elijah Ja'wuan into our family on November 19th, 2010.

CONGRATULATIONS!
TO THE WHOLE LIPNER FAMILY
So much to give thanks for

And in Other Thanksgiving News:

The Cothrans report in from Charleston
The SC contingent reports that Sally, Keith and Suki were invited to a Charleston family's home on the Battery for Turkey and then will give thanks for the weather with a walk on the beach and then take in the festival of lights on James Island. Ann took a break from decorating everyone elses table and went to Charlotte to do the 5k Turkey trot and share a Turkey with a friend. Perrin and Mia arrive soon to be with Granny Rah and Auntie Ann for a combo holiday break.
We send you a warm southern salute at this time- Be safe and enjoy family and friends.
Larry and Beth have donned their snow bird wings and drove south through the Blue Ridge Mts where they may have found their ultimate resting place.
They spent Turkey day in the Bahamas and are looking forward to being in New England for Christmas with the kids.
Sandy writes from CO that they enjoyed a quick trip to Pueblo to visit Curts family for Thanksgiving.
Is this where they cooked the turkey?

On a very sad note Perry (PB) writes that Polly's father passed away this week. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Hotchiss Family. Within our thanksgiving prayers are always thoughts for family and friends that are no longer with us but have been such an important part of our lives. We have been so blessed to know them.
