Spring is in its full regalia in Charleston. The Farmers Market has opened and the crowds and their spending power have exceeded expectation. Managing 100 vendor
s, 2500 visitors each week so far and securing Marion Square has been challenging but lots of fun too. Keith has been splicing and tying nautical knots on my porch all winter and his spliced dog leashes and dogs toys are in high demand. The pool is open and we have an alligator in our pond and walks at Folly Beach are becoming a daily event again. Annie is working a 7 day week getting her valued customers' houses up and ready for the House and Garden Tours and Easter. She is now Incorporated and counting her dollars toward a new home with room to spare for her blossoming business. Two bedroom townhouse close to beaches and downtown for sale to any interested family members! Keith and I have studied and passed the Test and are both licensed Charleston Tour Guides. I specialize in leading visitors through the history and traditions of Lowcountry cuisine; recently leading Family Circle Cup Tennis VIPs and Elderhostel groups around to "Savor the Flavors" of Charleston. Stone-ground grits, benne wafers and sweet tea vodka are all part of the spiel. Keith specializes in Local History Tours and evening Ghost Tours. Private personal tours of the City are complimentary to family members! Having spent Christmas in Maine and then the Big 2nd Birthda
y in Vermont, we miss the fun of watching Amelia Perrin grow up and cannot wait to get her back to our Beach in the Fall. We all will be spending time in August at the Hobbit on Cape Cod and keeping track of her funnny personality and good cheer on the Chick blog: http://www.ameliaperrinadventures.blogspot.com/. Perrin is back to bicycling for a cause and Amelia has taken up swimming and is headed for the Olympics. Plenty of Room, Plenty to Do and would love to share our beautiful City with the family. As we find ourselves saying quite often in amazement..."We Live Here"!!
