Here is what I've heard of recent family doings -
Sally and Annie had a great time on the Cape visiting Perrin, Shane and Mia at the Hobbit in Eastham. On the way there they stopped in Jamestown for clams and lobster and a Jane, Sally, Beth sister bonding evening. It was great to see everyone looking so well and enjoying their lives. Things hadn't changed much at the Hobbit, Mom and Dad's place near Nauset Light, the large roll of toilet paper was still in the basement "odor most house" and the little white foot prints painted by Nanny still lead you to the back door. Terry and Bob were on their annual pilgrimage to the Cape and stopped by for dinner and lots of reminiscing. Photo of the cousin reunion should be along soon.
While they were on the Cape, PB, Polly and Suki were tasting the shrimp and grits of Charleston, SC, taking advantage of Annie's offer of an empty apartment. It looks like Charleston may be seeing more of them in the future.
Charles and Susan write that they are enjoying Europe with a trip to Paris, staying with friends in a farmhouse near Tours, then to their flat in London and a week in Spain mixing some business but plenty of pleasure too. Larry and I are off to Italy for a couple of weeks, then FL, Bahamas and home for the Holidays. I need my snow fix before we head south for the winter. Lauren has just returned from her summer in Seattle where she was teaching pottery, volunteering with a therapeutic riding program and taking art courses. She is back at Jay Peak with her friend Chris this winter where he is ski patrol and she teaches skiing. Bo is now Professor Bo having landed a job as an adjunct professor in reading and writing at the local community college. Jane has been enjoying her kayak this summer with trips to local waterways and is now back at college for her final course. She graduates in December with a BA. Something she always wanted to accomplish and now she has done it! Many kudos to her.
That seems to be all the news I have right now so please send some updates . We are all eager to hear more, so help us to stay in touch. Send to elizabethbahamas@gmail.com - photos very welcome too.
