Sandy, Kurt and Karyn enjoyed their end of summer adventure to Marble, Redstone, and Crystal Co. complete with campfires and castles. Sandy writes that the castle dates back to the late 1890's, Marble Quarry is still active and the town of Crystal with once a population of several thousand is down to 8 summer residents. But it is not for the faint of heart having only 4x4 access and no cell phones - imagine that! The old farm truck has been restored perfectly (but does it run?), Sandy is looking very "buff" atop her horse and have you ever seen a happier "back to school" smile. But then Karyn always has a big smile.
